Facilitates smooth combined rope-chain operation for Atlantic (Vertical) and Compact (Horizontal) windlasses.

The Compact (Horizontal) Series RCMS is a separate unit that replaces a standard chain pipe with a special chain pipe featuring a spring loaded finger and integral 180 degree stripper/peeler. The spring loaded finger arrangement directs and guides the rope into the inner jaw of the gypsy whilst allowing the chain to follow and pass through automatically. A stripper/peeler assembly fits around the gypsy hub to prevent the rope from jamming and facilitates a smooth vertical drop into the chain locker.

The Atlantic (Vertical) Series RCMS is a combination of a special spring loaded finger and rope-chain gypsy with inner teeth fitted to the windlass at the time of manufacture.
